Guidance and honest reflection on recovery, prevention, and life after treatment

Who is Colmer Recovery?

Founded by Troy Colmer, a certified recovery coach, Colmer Recovery exists to meet people where they are — before, during, and after treatment — and to help workplaces, unions, and families recognize substance use disorder before it becomes a crisis. A full introduction video is on the way.

OUR MISSION

Colmer Recovery walks alongside people at every stage of the recovery journey — before a crisis, during the hardest decisions, and long after treatment ends. Recovery isn't one-size-fits-all, and lasting change starts with being met without judgment, coached rather than directed, and trusted as the expert in your own life. Prevention sits at the center of everything we do: helping individuals, workplaces, and families recognize the early signs of substance use disorder long before it becomes a crisis.

You're not alone in this.

Substance use touches every kind of life — from someone questioning their first drink to an executive quietly managing a habit that's gone further than planned. We need resources to help people once they're already struggling, but just as much, we need prevention: recognizing the early signs before they become a crisis, in ourselves, our families, and our workplaces.
